Astrologers must be hanged and God is living only at the places of Poor. ஜோதிடர்கள் தூக்கிலிடப்பட வேண்டும். ஏழைகள் வாழும் இடமே இறைவன் இருக்கும் இடம்.
The above words were not uttered by people like me. They were told by our Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi and First Governor General of India, Rajaji.
In 1917, Thakkar Baba, freedom fighter and best friend of Gandhi, told Gandhi that so far he has done all his duties to the best of his ability to the poor and now he has entrusted all his works to his selected people. He also emphasized Gandhi that due to his old age his mind requires some peaceful place so he wants to go to Rishikesh, by wearing saffron dress for meditation.
Suddenly Gandhi was stunned by Baba’s words and told Baba, if you want peace for your inner mind; there is no necessity in going to Rishikesh for meditation. Here you have done a lot for the poor people. They are only God. By continuing your service to the poor people only you can get peace of mind and blessings of God. Thakar Baba immediately taking Gandhijis word continued his present service to the poor till his end.
People going to Seva Gramam have to stay at Bajajwadi block at Wardha. Once former Governor General of India, Rajaji and his friend were staying in Bajaj block. That time they have heard about shocking news, about a step-mother taking an advice of an astrologer, killed the daughter of her husband’s first wife. The astrologer predicted to her that she will get harmful days in her carrier due to the horoscope of his husband’s first wife daughter.
Rajaji’s friend asked him, what are your comments for this. Rajaji replied that all the astrologers in the world to be hanged, because of these astrologers everything is happening. For the whole human community they are doing injustice.
It is up to the readers to decide and to take correct step, whether to follow the advices of Gandhiji and Rajaji.

Interesting blog. Did you know Bajajwadi was also the meeting place for Gandhian 'revolutionaries'. The birthplace of ideas that changed India's destiny. Bajajwadi at Wardha was regarded as the national guest house during the freedom movement. Even today, Bajajwadi reverberates with an aura reminiscent of that era.
